I had a great time at The Boxer during my visit to Boston, especially because of its excellent location just a short walk from the TD Garden. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made my stay even more enjoyable. However, the high parking fees and some minor cleanliness issues did dampen the overall experience a bit.
Rooms
6.0
The room was comfortable and had all the necessities, but it felt a bit small for my liking, especially when navigating around the furniture. The bed was super cozy, but the blackout curtain didn’t fully cover the window, which was a little frustrating.
Service
7.0
The front desk staff was incredibly cordial and helpful, always making me feel welcome. However, my experience with housekeeping was disappointing as the room cleanliness did not meet expectations.
Location

The Boxer is ideally positioned for exploring Boston, with many attractions within walking distance. I was able to see so much of the city without having to use public transport, which was fantastic.
Dining

Breakfast at Finch was enjoyable and reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise compared to some other hotel dining options. However, some small snacks in the room were quite overpriced.
Facilities

The hotel offered various amenities like a mini bar, but I found the parking fees a bit steep. Having the option for room service and pet amenities was a nice touch, though.

My stay at The Boxer had its highs and lows. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from attractions like the North End and TD Garden. However, the service at the front desk was frustrating at times; I faced challenges when trying to get the right room type I had booked. The overall cleanliness of the room left something to be desired, with issues like mildew in the shower. Still, the comfortable bed and the complimentary drinks made my experience enjoyable enough to consider returning.
Rooms

The rooms were reasonably sized, but I found them on the smaller side compared to what I expected, especially for the price. There were cleanliness issues, with some mildew spotted in the shower.

The front desk staff had some rough patches; while there were some friendly team members, I did encounter poorly trained staff who couldn't resolve my room issue properly. I felt more like an inconvenience than a valued guest at times.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right by North Station, making it perfect for exploring Boston. It was a short walk to popular spots like the Freedom Trail and Beacon Hill.

Dining options around the hotel looked decent, but my experience with room service took over an hour, which was disappointing. I've heard the breakfast is good, but I didn’t get to try it myself.

The Boxer in Boston has a stylish atmosphere and an excellent location, perfect for exploring the city. but the service left much to be desired. My overall experience was marred by staff issues and unexpected charges, taking away from the charm of the hotel.

While the hotel offered some nice amenities, I was surprised to find that parking wasn't as easy as advertised. It involved a bit of a walk, and the extra fees added up quickly.

I had an overall pleasant stay at The Boxer. The location was fantastic, as I was just two blocks from TD Garden and could easily explore the surrounding area. However, I did encounter some issues, including a cramped room and a lack of proper service during my last day that impacted my experience.

Most of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, but I didn't appreciate that my room wasn't serviced on our last day, which left me needing to collect fresh towels myself.

The location of the hotel was excellent—very quiet for being in such a central spot, and close to many attractions, restaurants, and bars. It was perfect for my plans.
Dining

I enjoyed the breakfast, especially the tasty fish and chips, though I wish there were more options as I found the limited dining a bit disappointing.

The facilities included room service and housekeeping, but I felt some attention to detail was lacking, such as signage in the elevator area that was unclear and led to some inconvenience.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at The Boxer. While the central location is fantastic and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, I faced several drawbacks. My room was quite small, making it a bit cramped for two people, and the extra fees felt excessive. Still, the breakfast was a bright spot, especially the oatmeal filled with fresh berries.
Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was really small, which made moving around challenging, especially with just a foot of space between the bed and the TV stand. It was better suited for a solo traveler, and I honestly wished for more hanging space or a luggage hold.
Service
7.0
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions. However, some of the reception staff on later shifts weren’t as attentive as I hoped, leading to some frustrations.
Location
8.0
The location is truly unbeatable. I was able to walk to many downtown attractions and it’s close to the North End, making it perfect for exploring the best of Boston.
Dining
9.0
Breakfast at the hotel was simply amazing. The oatmeal was a highlight, and the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. I wish I had time to try dinner as I heard great things about it too.
Facilities
5.0
The amenities were decent, but I found the extra charges a bit annoying. For instance, there was a $69 resort fee, which I felt was excessive for what was offered. WiFi issues and a somewhat confusing room setup were also bothersome.
